Know what is the essential qualification (BSF Qualification)


For the trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Dhobi), Constable (Barber) and Constable (Sweeper): Must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. Also, should be skilled in the related trade. Must pass the trade test in the relevant trade conducted by the Recruitment Board.


For Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier) and Constable (Waiter) Trades: Must have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. Along with this, there should be a certificate of National Skills Qualification Framework Level-I course in Food.

Selected candidates for the Constable Tradesman Posts (BSF Recruitment 2023) will get Pay Matrix Level-3, Pay Scale Rs.21,700-69,100/- with salary of Rs.21,700-69,100/- along with other allowances and benefits as admissible to the Central Government.


Know what is the selection process


Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test. This exam will be of 100 marks. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the paper for 100 marks. These questions will be in both English and Hindi. Which will consist of CBT (Computer Based Test) or OMR based objective type multiple choice questions. After clearing this exam, there will be a physical test for the candidates. In which, after getting selected, the posting will be given to the candidate on the basis of merit.
