Air India canceled many flights, changed flight timings before January 26; check root

 


Air India has announced the cancellation of domestic flights on some routes as per the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by Delhi Airport. Looking at the week of 26 January, flights have been canceled and rescheduled.

In view of the preparations for the Republic Day by the Indian Air Force, the airspace will be restricted for about three hours every day for a week to commemorate the 74th Republic Day. Keeping this in mind, Air India has taken appropriate measures to cancel as well as reschedule flights while minimizing disruptions. NOTAM for 2023 has been released on January 19-24 and January 26 from 10.30 pm to 12.45 pm.


In order to comply with the NOTAM, Air India will cancel all flights to and from Delhi over a period of seven days during the time frame mentioned above. This has been done without causing interference on other routes. Flights operating before or after the scheduled time limit will continue to operate as usual.


Which routes will be affected?


As far as international flights are concerned, Air India will either reschedule it with a delay of one hour or go ahead. Due to this, ultra-long haul, long-haul and short haul international operations from five stations namely LHR (London), IAD (Dulles), EWR (Newark), KTM (Kathmandu) and BKK (Bangkok) were delayed or delayed by one hour. will be affected due to
